One of the newer tracks in NASCAR, Chicagoland Speedway was completed in 2000. The speedway is located outside of Chicago, Illinois in Elwood, Illinois and has a seating capacity of 75,000. The track itself is a D-shaped oval with 18 degree turns, 11 degree frontstretch and a 5 degree backstretch. The length of the frontstretch is 2400 feet and the backstretch is 1700 feet.
