Overton, Nevada, is a town located in Clark County and on the north end of Lake Mead. If you’re an art lover, then you’ve got to visit Overton’s Double Negative. It’s a piece of earth art that was completed in 1969 by Michael Heizer. It consists of a long trench in the ground and essentially encourages the viewer to question how creating empty or negative space can be classified as art. History lovers should be sure to stop by the Lost City Museum which was built by the National Park Service in 1935. The museum was built to house artifacts from Pueblo Grande de Nevada.
