A system of interconnected waterways is the star at Voyageurs National Park, adjacent to International Falls; visitors enjoy a winter playground at this northern Minnesota locale. Blue Mounds State Park, tucked into the southwestern corner of the state, hosts a cool program where you can learn to rock climb on its 100-foot high quartz cliff.
