The name of this four star hotel; Genoardo; is derived from the garden that was built as ordered by the Norman king of Sicily; Ruggero the 2nd. It extended to the sea and the neighborhoods of Altofonte and Monreale; the site of a wonderful cathedral. Genoard means paradise of land which is the philosophy that led to the construction of this hotel; a peaceful place endowed with every comfort for holidays; leisure; and business. The restaurants and the garden are ideal settings for events and meetings and in summer the poolside terrace provides a relaxing environment. Guests can also enjoy a drink in the hotel bar. The bar area and lounge provide comfortable seating and opens onto wraparound terraces with mountain views. All rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with Sat TV with pay per view; a radio; a minibar; a safe; a telephone; a desk; elegant bath toiletries and a hairdryer. All have modern decor and terracotta tiled floors. There are 6 meeting rooms which can accommodate from 10 to 250 people and the hotel can also cater for weddings and banquets.
