The newly renovated first bed and breakfast hotel in Philadelphia once served as a temporary housing for longshoremen from all over the world. It is steeped in Philadelphias rich international and historical past. It is an urban inn located in the midst of Independence National Historical Park in old city. Our rooms have been decorated with the kind of furnishings that make you feel at home. With only twelve rooms we are small and unique. Six of our rooms are two-room suites. Our continental breakfast is served to your room every morning. We feature fresh fruit juice coffee or tea fresh fruit or fresh fruit salad pastries and muffins. Once you have settled into your room and enjoyed a complimentary cocktail in our bar/restaurant you can relax in the knowledge that you are ideally placed to enjoy the many historical experiences that Philadelphia has to offer you. This property was built in 1832.
