Black Jack Inn is two miles south of Coushatta Casino and Golf Course approximately 35 miles from Lake Charles Airport and 50 miles from Alexandria and Lafayette. Kinder was established in 1885 and was named after the first settler James Kinder. He opened a small store and as settlers migrated into the area the name developed by the constant usage. Kinders Calcasieu and Ouiska Chitto rivers present rafting and canoeing opportunities. The propertys amenities include free parking a daily complimentary continental breakfast 24-hour front desk service and free shuttle service to Coushatta Casino and Golf Course.
