But it is intentional - we strive to maintain the original ambiance of the Hotel - from the iron bed to the vintage radio from the comforting rumble of the nearby iron horse to the retro-style phone that actually connects to a switchboard at the front desk. And unlike most historic hotels all rooms have private bathrooms.But let us assume for a second you have a different agenda than immersing yourself in the sweet nostalgia of a bygone era. Our guest lounge offers a plasma TV and a computer with internet access for the modern traveler. If you feel the need to connect from your room the hotel is equipped with one of those new fangled high speed wireless internet connections. And the recently renovated and long venerated Club Congress offers world class entertainment nightly (plus some great art and musical performances in the Lobby).
