The Scottish Inns of Metter is located conveniently near I-16 but just far enough off the interstate to offer a truly quiet atmosphere. Quaint and historic downtown Metter Georgia offers visitors a unique opportunity to visit several blocks of restored and preserved Victorian-Style homes. The downtown square also offers a glimpse into a turn-of-the-century style. Nearby attractions are as close as two miles away with the Charles Harrold Nature Preserve and the Canochee Ohoopee Ogeechee and Altamaha Rivers or travel 11 miles further down the road to the George L. Smith State Park for hiking fishing boating and lots of outdoor fun. The Guido Gardens Spiritual Gardens featuring nature trails four-seasons flower gardens and prayer chapels is two miles from the Scottish Inns in Metter. Georgia Southern College and the Georgia Southern Museum are 15 miles away. Savannah Georgia is 65 miles the Savannah Airport is 50 miles from the Scottish Inns in Metter Georgia. Georgia Southern College Hendrix Produce and Warren Peanut Company are some of the business nearby. There are half a dozen or more food establishments located as near as across the street to 1 mile from the property. Sorry no pets.
