The beachfront Coral Sands Resort is on Trinity Beach a few miles from Palm Cove and approximately eight miles from Cairns Domestic and International Airport. The resort is about 15 minutes from the boutiques weekend markets casual eateries fine restaurants and entertainment of Cairns. Tropical rainforest spills down to the coast meeting 15 miles of beaches. Coral Sands is a good base for exploring the rainforest or the reef and tours pick up and drop off at the resort. Resort amenities include the two barbecue areas palm-spotted picnic area two acres of tropical gardens beachfront restaurant and ocean-view lagoon-size pool with lounge chairs a waterfall and covered areas.
