Grand Mercure Rockford Esplanade is situated on the beach in exclusive Palm Cove overlooking the Coral Sea. Just 20 minutes north of Cairns the resort features a choice of luxuriously appointed studios as well as one and two bedroom fully self contained apartments each with a large private balcony. Resort facilities include 4 restaurants wthin the complex free form lagoon style swimming pool fitness centre and boutique shopping.The Spice Market restaurant will cease operation on the 28th of October 2008. All bookings currently held that include breakfast will be honoured with the breakfast being served from one of the neighbouring restaurants.
