The Budget Host Derrick Motel is located just off I-25 at exit 11 in Trinidad CO on the original Santa Fe Trail. Enjoy comfortable amenities while recreating in scenic Sugarite Canyon State Park with a variety of seasonal activities from hiking biking cross country skiing and fishing for lake trout at Lake Maloya. West of town take a relaxing drive on the Scenic Highway of Legends to Trinidad State Park for outdoor adventures. Small pets allowed for a pet fee per pet per night. Children 10 and under stay free in room with paid adult. Hotel front desk closes at 11pm. Please phone the hotel if you will be arriving later than 11pm.
