Restaurants - Kaiona means Â?view of the seaÂ?. Kaiona Restaurant features a panoramic view of the golf course, mountains, and the Pacific Ocean. The Kaiona Restaurant is open for breakfast from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, Lunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and Dinner from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The dining room is accompanied by a wrap-around outdoor lanai (patio) that overlooks the spectacular views of the ocean, our golf course or the swimming pool. During your morning hours, treat yourself to breakfast with our fresh island fruits and local favorites then in the afternoon enjoy a simple lunch watching golfers tee off on our first hole. Then indulge yourself with one of our special desserts such as the Waianae Fry, a generous helping of fried ice cream, a favorite of visitors and KamaÂ?aina alike. For dinner, the Kaiona Restaurant invites you to take pleasure in our casual KamaÂ?aina dining experience. With an atmosphere akin to fine dining, yet informal enough to come dressed in comfortable shorts and a collared shirt, dinner in the Kaiona Restaurant is a pleasure for all. Indulge in one of our fantastic entrees; however be sure to keep room for dessert. The Kaala DelightÂ?s is quite literally the delight of the Kaiona Restaurant. At the Pumana Lounge, sip your favorite cocktail before dinner or after a round of golf while partaking in the vibrant Hawaiian Sunset, unlike any you have ever encountered. Pumana is named after a magical flute in a legend, which takes place within the Valley of Makaha. The Pumana Lounge offers an assortment of entertainment and cocktails. Become a karaoke star during the later part of the evenings. Live entertainment makes the Pumana Lounge an ideal setting for an evening of relaxation. FREE Karaoke on Fridays and live local entertainers on Saturdays.

The Makaha Resort Golf Club and Hotel is located approximately 30 miles from Honolulu International Airport and a mile from the Makana surfing beach.
