The Residenza Paolo VI was established in the premises of a monastery at the beginning of 2000. The Genius loci and the charm of tradition are still alive within its ancient walls and they make this property your private haven in Rome - far away from chaos and yet situated in the pulsing heart of the Eternal City. Rome has many hotels but only one of them stands directly on St. Peters Square: Residenza Paolo VI. This makes our house a unique home-from-home for visitors to Rome who want something entirely different and explains why connoisseurs recommend it to their closest friends. Our house offers 29 comfortably furnished single and double rooms all with shower/WC satellite TV direct telephone lines minibar safe hairdryer and of course air conditioning. Our panoramic terrace gives you a front seat view over St. Peters Square - some feel that they are at the-gates of heaven-on what is the Residenzas real attraction with its breathtaking view of the most beautiful square in the Western world and the Papal Palace with the mighty dome St. Peters Basilica towering over it - a truly unique panorama! Here you can sit and feast your eyes on this scenery. In the evening the terraces beautiful illumination the discrete sound of classical music in the background and a wide range of drinks and cocktails are perfect for relaxing after a day full of impressions. Additional information: Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
