Lech has never been compromised by tourism it is still a picturesque town nestled in an alpine landscape as beautiful in summer as it is in winter. Above it and on its fringes is the Sporthotel Kristiania the pride of Othmar Schneider 1952 Olympic Slalom Champion. A vividly good-looking designer hotel interior that successfully cuts rustic with modern - sumptuous fabrics and contemporary paintings. Indeed the rooms are seriously luxurious if simple in style. But that*s its charm. There*s an infectious conviviality about the bar where its easy to make friends especially with one of the many malts on offer. The restaurant will take you to new heights: superb cuisine and a great choice of wines with impeccable service. The Health Club will reinvigorate you after skiing or hiking.
