The Tulip Inn Dresden is located in the government district of the Saxon metropolis close to the banks of the Elbe River. From the hotel it takes only 15 minutes on foot to the old town center with its famous historic sights such as Semperoper Zwinger and Frauenkirche. The restaurant Am Glacis offers international cuisine and regional dishes. During the summer our guests can enjoy their cooling drinks and dinner on our quietly located terrace. The bar is open for 24 hours. There is a partner restaurant in the same building. The hotel offers a small lobby bar one meeting room (40 square meters) and pay parking in the public underground garage. The hotel offers 132 rooms. Frauenkirche Dresden, Church of Our Lady - The Frauenkirche, Church of Our Lady was destroyed on 13th February 1945, at the end of the Second World War. The church was rebuilt from 1993 to 2005. It was financed almost exclusively from donations.

Kongresszentrum, International Congress Center - The Congress Center of Dresden is one of the most modern and beautiful congress centers of Europe. Situated directly on the river banks of the Elbe.

River Elbe - With its beautiful natural surrounding, It offers various leisure activities like cycling or walking. Trips with the old and large paddle-steamers of the Sächsische Dampfschifffahrt can be started from the Terrassenufer.

Gruenes Gewoelbe, Green Vault - The Gruenes Gewoelbe, Green Vault is one of the richest treasure chambers in the world. In the year 2006, the famous and magnificent collection of the Wettin electors returned to its historic home in the Dresden Royal Palace.

Albertinum - It was built on order of King Albert in 1884 upon the foundations of the former arsenal in 16th century. Today it is a museum.

Zwinger - The three-wing complex was built under August the Strong from 1710 to 1732 in Baroque style. The Zwinger derives its name from the site behind the town fortifications.

Yenidze - The Yenidze is a former tobacco factory in the form of a mosque with a stained glass dome and a restaurant with terrace.

Sachsische Schweiz (Swiss Saxony) - Swiss Saxony - Elbe sandstone massif with Bastei bridge with magnificent view.

Schloss Pillnitz, Pillnitz Castle - Pillnitz Castle combines Baroque and Renaissance styles and fits ideally into its natural setting. Originally it was the summer residence of August the Strong. Today it is a museum and musical performances are held there frequently.

Zoo Dresden - The Zoo Dresden is located next to the GroÃ?er Garten. It was founded in 1861 and today a great variety of animals can be seen, about 400 species.

Brühlsche Terrasse, Bruehl Terrace - The Bruehl Terrace is called the Balcony of Europe and is flanked by four bronze groups, symbolizing the times of the day. The terrace includes them facades of the famous Sekundogenitur and the Art Academy.

Blaues Wunder, Blue Wonder Bridge - The 150 m long iron constructure with its blue painted elements is one of the most distinctive landmarks of the city. It connects the quarters Blasewitz and Loschwitz.

Semperoper, Semper Opera House - The history of the Semperoper, Semper Opera House goes back to the year 1678. Famous conductors, composers and singers worked here. After the Second World War it took forty years before it was rebuilt with its original facade.

Pfund`s Molkerei, Pfund´s Dairy - Founded in the year 1880 by the Pfund brothers and developed to one of the most famous and successful companies of the world. Various milk and cheese products are available.
