As the largest hotel in Gibraltar the Caleta Hotel has a spectacular location along side the Mediterranean and stands on the eastern side of the rock beside the fishing village of Catalan Bay. This hotel has for many years been an attractive haven for British and European business and leisure travelers and a popular choice for dining amongst the local population (2 RAC Dining awards). The hotel has recently received substantial investment for the refurbishment of the public areas restaurant and bedrooms. It has private access to a small sheltered sandy beach overlooking Spain and North Africa. The hotel features 169 bedrooms. Whether one is looking for a quiet relaxing afternoon in the small English leafy garden with views of the rock or a Latin atmosphere in the Italian restaurant the friendly and efficient staff are there to cater for ones needs.
