Coburg is an inside tip for culture history and events. Coburg offers also a great variety of relaxational and recreational opportunities. The Romantik Hotel Goldene Traube in which hospitality is very important since 420 years is located in the heart (100m of the historical market place) of Coburg. In the special Fish Restaurant *Meer and mehr* the chef will pamper you with specialties around fish as well as haute cuisine. The restaurant offers a wine list with over 450 items. You can also enjoy regional specialties and a large selection of wine in the *Weinstube*. In the Vinothek Wein and mehr you will find great pleasure at small prices. The wines are chosen by the president of the Sommelier-Union Germany - the Host of the Romantik Hotel Goldene Traube. Besides the hotel offers four daylight-flooded meeting rooms for up to 120 persons. A small City-Wellness-Area rounds up the offer. Coburg is an ideal place for recreation: A hiking track starts only 1.5 km from the hotel. Bicycles can be rent directly at the front desk and maps are available.
