Acamaya Reef is located on the south side of Cancun downtown only a few minutes from the international airport of Cancun. Acamaya Reef has every level of accommodation: You can pitch your own tent stay in a thatched roof cabana with an overhead fan and shared bathroom and shower or relax in an air-conditioned room with a private bath. You can lie on the white-sand beach looking at the hemispheres longest barrier reef or looking at each other. You can kayak swim and snorkel off the Acamaya Beach or you can enjoy some excellent scubadiving and wind surfing out of nearby Puerto Morelos.
