The Hyatt Regency Newport is located on Newports private Goat Island approximately a quarter-mile from downtown with views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Newports shops mansions yachts and historic attractions are within walking distance. Newport Shuttle operates hourly service from Providence Airport to Newport hotels for approximately 15 a person. Taxis are also available and cost roughly 50 from the airport to the hotel. Hotel amenities include the spa and health club (8/day or 12 for the length of the stay) with exercise bike free weights indoor and outdoor pool lifecycle massage treatments the Newport Spa sauna and treadmill. There are also golf and horse riding facilities nearby (availably during high season--May through September). All rooms have coffeemakers irons and iron boards hairdryers room service and cable TV.
