Opened as an all suite hotel in 1970, The International Hotel Suites Calgary has been a prominent presence in the Calgary skyline and in the City's history.
Our convenient downtown Calgary location provides for guests a short distance to some of Calgary's trademark attractions and corporate offices. The Business, Entertainment and Theatre Districts are all within walking distance. Calgary's LRT (light rail transit) train system has a station just two blocks away - allowing easy access to all areas of the City.
The hotel is connected to Calgary's covered pedestrian walkway system, the +15 which spans 19 km accessing downtown shopping, restaurant, theatre, meeting facilities without having to brave the elements.
All of our Guest Suites were beautifully renovated in 2007 and include such luxurious amenities as high thread count sheets, plush pillow top mattress, duvet, and flat screen T.V. Our suites range in size from 595 to 750 square feet and offer both living and bedroom spaces.
Launched in early April 2008, we are proud to present The Orchid Floor, a women-only floor designated for the female business and leisure travelers . The Orchid Floor offers, in addition to the updated look and feel, yoga mat, women's magazines, makeup mirror, clothes steamer, flat iron, curling iron, padded hangers, assortment of Tazo
teas, Aveda amenities, soft bath rob and an emergency kit including panty hose and such. Room on this floor are on request basis and subject to availability.
