Situated in a quiet tree-filled square opposite Hyde Park the 90-room Victorian town house-styled Commodore Hotel is a cozy and convenient place to stay during a visit to London. Hyde Park Kensington Gardens Oxford Street and Marble Arch are all within walking distance as is the Lancaster Gate Underground (Tube) stop. Built in 1860 the hotel is adorned with antiques from the Victorian period many of them on display in the comforting foyer lounge. On the premises is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner (including tasty authentic Spanish tapas) a lounge a bar and a recently refurbished gym.
